On October 10th, the South Korean National Assembly convened a plenary session and passed a resolution demanding the swift arrest of President Yoon Seok-youl, along with the investigation into suspicions of inciting internal strife by Yoon Seok-youl and others under the ‘Internal Strife Special Prosecutor Act’. During the plenary session, the resolution calling for the immediate arrest of Yoon Seok-youl and seven others was passed with 191 votes in favor, 94 against, and 3 abstentions. The resolution strongly urges the prompt arrest of Yoon Seok-youl, former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun, former Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min, and others.
