This year, the number of approval numbers for domestic online games has surpassed a thousand, with 113 games released this time, including 104 mobile games (including 50 mobile casual puzzle games), 5 mobile and client games, 2 client games, 1 mobile and web game, and 1 mobile and client and gaming console (XBOX) game.So far this year, the issuance of approval numbers for domestic online games has been steadily increasing. Except for April and May, the approval numbers for domestic online games issued per month have always been over a hundred. According to statistics, 959 approval numbers for domestic online games have been issued in the first nine months of this year. Including the 113 issued in October, the total number of approval numbers for domestic online games this year has reached 1072, significantly exceeding the same period last year. Additionally, with the issuance of 15 new approval numbers for imported online games, the total number of approval numbers for imported online games this year has increased to 90.

According to the ‘China Game Industry Quarterly Report for July-September 2024’ published by Gamma Data, the actual sales revenue of the Chinese game market in the third quarter of 2024 reached 91.766 billion yuan, with a quarter-on-quarter increase of 22.96% and a year-on-year increase of 8.95%, setting a historical record. The rich supply of game products is expected to further boost the game market. Victory Goddess: New Hope is a new dimension idle shooter game set in the realm of anime-style gaming. Players assume the role of a commander, leading a team composed of Nijis to combat external invading forces and reclaim the earth that rightfully belongs to humanity. Previously, the game was launched overseas under the name Victory Goddess: Niji. Developed by Shift Up, a South Korean studio invested in by Tencent, Victory Goddess: Niji has been mentioned multiple times in Tencent’s financial reports.
